We’re Launched.

Hola, bienvenidos a todos. Welcome to our new website. What you’re currently reading is a direct result of our crowdfunding campaign, launched in February 2020.

Thank you to all our supporters who helped us reach our original goal within 24 hours (!!!) and those who helped us reach our secondary goal roughly a month later. Thanks to everyone who wanted to donate, but maybe couldn’t and instead shared our campaign. And thank you to those who shared their stories with us, which we then shared on social media to help promote our campaign. We really couldn’t do this work without y’all.

Thanks to the crowdfunding campaign, we’re able to grow our community for us, by us. This growth includes the forthcoming Community School, which will offer asynchronous courses, webinars, and digital downloads, as well as a We Here shop where we can sell our goods. Both have long been dreams of Team We Here. Check out our Collaborations page to see who has designed goods for us so far.

Around the same time we launched the crowdfunding campaign, we announced the launch of up//root: A We Here Intervention. up//root was an idea brought to We Here by three amazing people who are now the editors: Joyce Gabiola, Sofia Leung, and Jorge Lopez-McKnight. More about up//root, including how it is affiliated with We Here and how to submit an article, coming soon.
